This a summary of the instructions on how to install a printer from university networks.

• Installing Canon printers to use the badge printing solution

Installation steps

1. Open the printer management menu. See “KDE printer management” if you encounter a bug in KDE that prevents the opening of the printer management GUI.
2. Add the printer:
   • URL: smb://batman.uni.lux/FollowMe
   • Username: uni/<first name>.<last name>
3. Add driver:
   • Type: Generic
   • Driver: PostScript Printer (en)
4. Add printer details:
   • Name: FollowMe
   • Description: Uni.lu printing service
